Clone Any Expert Into an AI You Can Ask Anything (We Used Alex Hormozi)

You've read the books. You've watched the talks. The frameworks made sense at the time. Then a real decision lands on your desk, you go to apply one, and you can't remember which idea fits or where you read it.

That gap, between absorbing someone's thinking and actually using it, is the thing worth closing. And it turns out you can close most of it in an afternoon by building an AI advisor in Claude that reasons the way your chosen expert does.

The idea is simple. Take a thinker whose work you trust, feed their public material into Claude, and tell Claude to respond the way they would. What you get isn't the person. It's an advisor that thinks in their frameworks, that you can put a specific problem to whenever you want.

We'll use Alex Hormozi as the worked example, because his material suits the job well: heavy on repeatable frameworks, widely published, and consistent in tone. But the method has nothing to do with him specifically. It works for almost anyone with a large public body of work, which is the point we'll come back to at the end.

What you'll need

A few things before you start:

• A Claude account. The feature doing the work here is Projects. A Project is a workspace that holds a set of documents plus a standing instruction, and remembers both across every conversation inside it. Think of it as a room you've set up in advance, so you don't have to explain yourself each time you walk in.
• Source material from the person you're building. Talks, interviews, podcast transcripts, articles, posts, and any books you own.
• About an hour.

Step 1: Create the Project

In Claude, open Projects and create a new one. Name it something you'll recognise later, like "Hormozi Business & Life Coach"

A Project keeps its files and instructions walled off from your normal chats, so nothing you set up here leaks into the rest of your Claude use, and nothing from your other conversations contaminates the advisor.

Step 2: Gather the material

This is where the quality comes from, so it's worth taking your time. You're assembling a small library that captures how the person thinks and how they talk.
